Entropia Social en Las Terrenas

 OTRA VEZ SUENO EL FUTUTO DE ALARMA: ¿ENTROPÍA SOCIAL?

Es posible que ahora, más que nunca antes, le haya llegado la hora a Las Terrenas de clara y definitivamente decidir entre dos posibles futuros:

1) seguir creciendo de tal forma que unos pocos se enriquezcan, pero que el pueblo se quede sin suficiencia de agua, sin acceso al tránsito satisfactorio, sin seguridad adecuada, sin espacios peatonales, sin aire limpio, con excesos de ruido, sin espacios urbanos de distracción, con altas demandas habitacionales, con exceso de vehículos y motores, etc; o,

2) parar el crecimiento incontrolado, reducirlo, quizás hasta decrecer, para que la mayoría de la gente pueda tener mejor calidad de vida, con más espacios escolares, mejor tránsito, menos ruido, más agua, más seguridad, más espacios peatonales, mayor tranquilidad, más comida, etc.

Porque las anteriores alcaldías y concejos municipales no han tenido un ordenamiento ni una planificación, permitiendo crecimiento sin ton ni son, mientras las infraestructuras esenciales se achican, se atrofian, se dañan o son inexistentes; y también han permitido que cualquiera haga lo que quiera, entre muchos otros males.

Terrenero, ¿quieres seguir creciendo sin control para que los pocos se hagan más ricos, o quieres una mejor calidad de vida para ti y los tuyos?

Estamos en riesgo, reflexiona, habla, pregunta, piensa!! Ya algunos que han venido por lo que era Las Terrenas comienzan a darse cuenta de que no es lo que pensaron.

¿Y tú, qué piensas?

(JB: Entropía social: medida de la incertidumbre existente ante condiciones sociales insostenibles, impredecibles y fuera de control).

AGAIN THE FUTUTO ALARM SOUNDS: SOCIAL ENTROPY?

It is possible that now, more than ever before, the time has come for Las Terrenas to clearly and definitively decide between two possible futures:

1) continue to grow in such a way that a few get rich, but the town is left without sufficient water, without access to satisfactory transit, without adequate security, without pedestrian spaces, without clean air, with excessive noise, without urban spaces of distraction, with excessive housing demands, with an excess of vehicles and motorcycles, etc.; or,

2) stop uncontrolled growth, reduce it, perhaps even decrease it, so that most people can have a better quality of life, with more school spaces, better traffic, less noise, more water, more security, more pedestrian spaces, greater tranquility , more meals, etc.

Because the previous mayor's offices and municipal councils have not concerned themselves with city planning, encouraging growth without rhyme or reason, while essential infrastructures shrink, atrophy, are damaged or are non-existent; and they have also allowed anyone to do what they want, among many other evils.

Terrenero, do you want to continue growing without control so that the few become richer, or do you want a better quality of life for you and yours?

We are at risk, reflect, speak, ask, think!! Already some who have come for what was Las Terrenas, are beginning to realize that it is not what they thought.
